Since 1999, The National University of Mexico offers a new graduate program on Behavioral Medicine. This is the first program on Behavioral Medicine in Mexico. The curriculum was developed linking learning experiences and the professional offering of services in a problem-solving framework; the main area includes behavioral management of chronic diseases (including risk factors detection, lifestyles change, stress management, coping, and therapeutic adherence, among others).
